Data Skills for Work have just launched a new Data Skills Credits upskilling fund for employers
Are you looking to upskill your staff? Their small grants of between £500 and £5,000 will help future proof your workforce by ensuring your staff have the tools, skills and confidence to work efficiently with data – whether understanding it, analysing it or presenting it.
Available to employers operating in Edinburgh & South East Scotland that are undertaking digital transformation (including automation) and with employees in their target groups. They can help you find appropriate training with further and higher education institutions and private providers.
The Scheme is funded through the Edinburgh & South East Scotland City Region Deal and administered by the Data Skills for Work Programme at The Data Lab – Scotland’s Innovation Centre for Data & AI.
How do I apply?
As this is a new scheme, there will be an expression of interest stage followed by a full application process. This is to gauge demand for the scheme and ensure funding can be distributed where needed.
The expression of interest stage is now open and involves a short application form. Should you be invited to make a full application further detail will be requested about the employees you wish to upskill and additional support that will be provided.
Deadline for Expression of Interest – 5pm on 10 December 2020
