Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our International Student Pilot Programme, aimed at fostering a vibrant ecosystem where these exceptional minds can thrive and contribute to the Scottish economy.
Did you know Scotland is home to 82,440 non-UK students enrolled in higher education? Recognising their immense value, The Data Lab has devised a pioneering initiative to encourage international students to remain and work in Scotland upon completing their master’s programs in data and/or AI-related subjects.
Through this groundbreaking pilot programme, The Data Lab Academy is offering comprehensive support to empower these students. From visa guidance and CV support to networking opportunities and employability skill development, we are dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition from academia to the thriving professional landscape in Scotland.

This event promises to be an unparalleled platform for networking and talent acquisition, with CodeBase as a core sponsor.
We are calling upon Scottish business of all sizes who are actively recruiting to seize this opportunity. By engaging with our programme cohort of 100 outstanding students, your organisation can tap into their technical expertise and employability skills that are so important in today’s competitive market.
Fash Fasoro, Immigration specialist at Adgenfash Consulting Ltd (ACL) and CEO of DataKirk, will also be on hand to advise businesses on how to recruit from this rich talent stream.
