Get the funding you need for your academic studies and to develop your employability skills
Money (or the lack of it) is a key factor for many students, but don’t let your economic situation get in the way of your pursuit of a career in data science. At The Data Lab, we offer two main scholarship opportunities — full scholarship and the academy scholarship.
The Data Lab Academy full scholarships
We provide full scholarships for students on a range of approved MSc courses at 11 Scottish Universities. These courses are for suitably qualified graduate students who want to develop their data science/engineering, AI and related data skills, and use them to understand and creatively solve a range of business and social problems. Enrolling on any of these courses also provides the opportunity to undertake The Data Lab’s Academy employability skills programme and apply for a placement.
The MSc courses open up a broad range of job opportunities in a variety of Scottish industry sectors, such as digital technologies, energy and utilities, financial services, public sector, healthcare and urban planning.
Full scholarships are available for students who meet the Scottish Government’s Residency conditions i.e., are an “ordinary resident” in Scotland. To check if you are eligible please refer to this SAAS.gov.uk guidance. EU students with settled or pre-settled status may be eligible.
