With one foot firmly in the door of 2018 we have our focus locked onto the remaining 6 weeks of preparation before DataFest18. However it is important for us to continually acknowledge those companies and people who make DataFest possible. Much like any event of this magnitude, DataFest would not be feasible without continued support from our sponsors who place their trust in us to produce and manage a world class event. DataFest is all about symbiosis in the Scottish data community and it really wouldn’t bring any value to the ecosystem without the backing and encouragement of our patrons to get involved with everything from exhibiting to organising fringe events.
We’re delighted to announce that SAS will be returning to DataFest18 as a Premium sponsor. SAS’s involvement will be right across the board from Data Talent to Data Summit and beyond. Also returning this year is Merkle Aquila, who since DataFest17 have been acquired by global data-driven marketing agency Merkle. They will feature in the full spectrum of DataFest related events including what many of us will be looking forward to, DataFest After Dark. Joining them this year will be NHS NSS who need no introductions. Their recent foray into the application of data analytics in the United Kingdom’s health system in an effort to increase its efficacy has been setting trends right across the world. Other sponsors and partners joining them across the week include Sainsburys Bank, Head Resourcing, MBN, Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Government; and charity partners UNICEF and Street Soccer Scotland; plus more still to come. We would also like to thank all of our DataFest exhibitors and fringe event hosts.
As it currently stands we only have 8 remaining exhibition spaces at Data Talent Scotland and only 5 exhibition spaces remaining at Data Summit. If you are interested in being a part of either of these events please do not miss out on the opportunity by leaving it too late. Have a look at our current exhibitor opportunities here, or feel free to contact us via datafest@thedatalab.com for more information on DataFest and how you can be a part of it.
