The Data Lab in collaboration with Scottish Development International is supporting a limited number of places to attend O’Reilly Strata 2014 in Barcelona.
The global market opportunity for data science and big data applications and services is significant. The Data Lab and Scottish Development International aim to help Scottish companies attract collaboration from leading technology providers and data-holders worldwide, generating exports and trade opportunities as well as increasing the potential for inward investment. In this context, the O’Reilly Strata 2014 Conference in Barcelona (http://strataconf.com/strataeu2014) is where some of the most influential decision makers, architects, developers, and analysts will gather to shape the future of their businesses and technologies and Scottish Development International will be leading a Learning Journey targeted at engaging with the event’s delegates.
SDI is offering each participating Scottish company/organisation a fully-paid 3-day pass to attend the event, and will also provide a grant of up to £450 towards travel and accommodation costs.
