The Data Lab in collaboration with Scottish Development International is supporting a limited number of places to attend the Strata Hadoop Make Data Work Conference in San Jose, CA (USA), taking place on 17 to 20 February 2015.
The Strata Hadoop Conference in San Jose is where big data’s most influential decision makers, architects, developers, and analysts will gather to shape the future of their businesses and technologies, and Scottish Development International intends leading a Learning Journey targeted at engaging with the event’s delegates.
SDI is offering each participating Scottish company/organisation a fully-paid 3-day pass to attend the event, and will also provide a grant of up to £750 towards travel and accommodation costs. In addition, subject to confirmation, we plan to host a Scottish networking event on Tuesday, 17 February 2015 where you will have the opportunity to meet with targeted US companies.
If participating in the Learning Journey you should therefore plan to be in the US for the minimum period of 17-20 February 2015.
Companies should also note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
