A call to fund new industrial doctorate projects is OPEN NOW with a submission deadline of 17:00 on Friday 30th August.
Funding for up to 50% of the programme cost will be provided, with the remainder to be matched by an industry (or public / third sector) partner. We are looking for applications from universities that have a proposed project with an industry or public sector partner.
For an Industrial Doctorate project to be considered for The Data Lab funding it must be hosted at a Scottish University and be sponsored by at least one industry, public or third sector sponsor that has an operational base in Scotland. The project must be innovative and have the potential to contribute to positive social/economic impact in Scotland with a focus on innovation in or the application of data science and AI techniques.
