You’ve seen the Edinburgh Fringe, now it’s time to experience DataFest Fringe – Scotland’s premiere showcase of data and artificial intelligence!
Our annual data and AI showcase is back for 2023; this year, it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Each summer, August brings a flurry of excitement to Scotland’s capital (did you know that Edinburgh’s population doubles during its world-famous Fringe month?). But why should summer have all the fun? The DataFest Fringe offers another social calendar programme for those who aren’t yet ready to retire from attending events.
As part of The Data Lab’s DataFest events, the Fringe is a unique opportunity for tech, data, and AI communities in Scotland to shine on the international stage. From enlightening talks by experts to mind-bending AI art (and even some hip-hop surprises), DataFest Fringe has something for everyone. While we can’t reveal the final line-up just yet, we want to give you a sneak peek of some key events that are already hitting the main stage …
