Governance Board

The overall responsibility for the Data Lab resides with the Governance Board made up of representatives of each of the stakeholder groups, and chaired by an independent industry leader.


The Board approves all significant funding applications, monitors progress, terminates projects where necessary and decides upon future strategic areas for investment. It is strongly weighted towards industrial representation.

Appointment of two additional Industry Members to the Governance Board of The Data Lab

We are looking to recruit 2 additional Board Members from Industry to join our main Governance Board. With these appointments we anticipate broadening the Board’s experience and strengthening our capabilities to provide additional industry perspectives and a greater diversity of thought.
